Founder & President
Adrian previously worked for JP Morgan from early 2007 and had several promotions during his time, latterly co-heading the global distribution across cash equities and equity derivatives for the equity division, and was part of the Global Equities Executive Committee, Equity Derivatives Global Management Committee and the Global Cash Equity Management Committee. He managed a sales force of over 500 sales professionals across the globe delivering sales, trading and advisory to global institutional investors and corporations across equity products.
Between 2006 and 2007 Adrian ran the Alpha Strategies Group for Merrill Lynch International, working on advisory projects for various institutional investors across asset classes, and coordinating the strategic marketing campaigns across the equity division. In 2005 he was a Founding Partner and Head of Marketing and Product Development for Wealth Management Group (WMG), an alternative asset management firm. He worked extensively in new fund development and capital-raising for various funds.
Previously, Adrian worked at Lehman Brothers International as head of Pan-European flow derivatives sales, including the coverage of global hedge funds for European derivative markets. He worked at Morgan Stanley New York from 1998 until 2002, as head equity derivative sales for Latin America and in the derivatives sales team for US hedge funds. In early 2002 he transferred to London as a senior sales person for the European Hedge Fund sales desk for equity derivatives, also heading the sales teams for Southern Europe and France.
Adrian holds a BA in Economics from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico as well as various other certificates and degrees including graduating from the Stanford University Senior Leadership program. He started his career in emerging markets, trading fixed income securities for Santander from 1991 through 1994, and later moving to ING Barings as part of their equities, equity strategy and equity derivatives teams.

Commodity Credit Fund
Prior to joining MCM Partners, Daniel was CEO and Board Director of VTB Capital Hong Kong (VTBC), overseeing an SFC regulated Investment Banking platform focused on natural resources activities across Global Markets, Structured & Corporate Finance, M&A and Asset Management. In addition to his role as CEO, Daniel led the bank’s Asian Commodities business which actively traded physical metals, energy, bulks, agri and provided bespoke financing, equity, credit and derivative solutions to clients across Asia Pacific.
Daniel has spent 20 years in the commodity markets and investment banking working for Societe Generale, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley in Sydney, London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Law (Honors) and Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University in Australia and serves as a non-executive director of ASX listed Pivotal Metals (ASX : PVT).
Partner & Group COO
With over 15 years’ experience gained within boutique Investment Banks, Vivian oversees cash and derivatives dealing, block crossing, executions and overall operations at MCM Partners, and is responsible for all aspects of due diligence, regulatory reporting and licensing.
Prior to joining us at launch in 2012, she was an AVP of Operations at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, an investment banking firm headquartered in New York and was one of the key members of the founding team that launched the Asia Office in 2009.
Vivian previously held positions at Fox-Pitt, Kelton and Canaccord Genuity, having graduated the University of Toronto’s BA Economic Specialist Program in 2003.
Partner & Head of China
Before re-joining MCM Partners, Wenbin worked as Managing Director for AVIC Capital International, the international investment platform of AVIC, a leading central SOE of China, in charge of private equity investment.
From 2012 to 2014, Wenbin worked as the Sales Director for Sumberg Advisory, a leading independent research house in Mainland China. Sumberg is renowned for its research on macroeconomics, TMT and thematics. He was also in charge of TMT research, serving the largest institutional investors and sovereign funds across the Mainland. Wenbin started his career with AXA Investment Managers (Investment Solutions Department) before moving to Sociétés Générales in Paris, working on fixed income pricing.
Wenbin holds a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence from l’Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) in Toulouse, France.
Head of Wealth
Angie has more than 20 years of experience in global wealth management and private banking. Her career spans New York, Singapore and Hong Kong with major global banks namely Merrill Lynch, UBS and Credit Suisse where she held senior leadership roles as Managing Director and Market Leader for China. Prior to joining MCM Partners, she was Vice Chair and Managing Director of Bank J Safra Sarasin Client Advisory.
At MCM Partners, Angie is leading the growth of our asset management business, as well as working closely with the group CEO in firmwide strategic initiatives. Angie earned Master of International Affairs with concentration in international banking and finance from Columbia University in the City of New York.
Head of Family Office
Christophe brings over 25 years of expertise in global financial markets, demonstrating a remarkable track record in advising both Single- and Multi-Family Offices across all asset classes.
Christophe has served as CIO, Head of Private Assets, and Investment Committee member at several leading single- and multi-family offices in Latin America and Europe, including advising one of Switzerland’s largest single-family offices, managing a total wealth exceeding $12 billion. He held senior leadership roles at UBS, Pictet & Cie, and Landolt & Cie, where he guided global clients in investment strategy and portfolio management. He began his career in M&A at UBS and Ernst & Young, where he advised in numerous European cross-border transactions, focusing primarily on valuation.
Christophe has also contributed to academia as a lecturer in the Doctorate of Applied Finance Program at Tsinghua University and the University of Geneva.
A CFA Charterholder, Christophe also holds MBAs from both ESADE Business School in Spain and the McCombs School of Business in the United States, alongside a Master in Finance from HEC Lausanne in Switzerland.
Partner
James is a multi-faceted leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in commodities and investment. He is the CEO of Phoenix Resources, a global commodity trading firm that supplies ferrous (iron ore, coal) and crude to major steel mills and refineries. The company also has strong presence and extensive experience in international steel trade.
At MCM Partners, James brings his extensive background in hard commodities across Asia and Europe and a track record in commodities trading and investment. With a strong command of strategic planning and business strategy, James is committed to integrating physical trades with derivatives hedging, covering private credit, trade finance, and M&A. The drive to innovate within the commodities sphere is matched by his dedication to foster partnerships that are both profitable and sustainable.
James is also the founder and main shareholder of Oasis Development Holding, a regional real estate developer that has completed over 30 million sq ft of residential and commercial developments.
He holds a BA in Economics from Berea College, a PhD study in Economics from the University of Kentucky.
General Counsel
Christopher Lunn brings over 28 years of experience in finance, including General Counsel roles at Citi Global Wealth Asia and Citi Private Bank Asia, alongside senior legal positions at JPMorgan Markets across London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Having built and led high-performing teams, Chris excels at translating strategic vision into practical action plans and tailored legal solutions.
He builds trust and optimizes stakeholder relationships by harmonizing competing priorities, valuing diverse perspectives, and navigating cross-cultural working practices with nuance.
A UK-qualified barrister, Chris brings institutional-grade rigor to MCM’s deal execution. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from London Metropolitan University.
Head of Strategy
Katherine has over 20 years of experience in Financial services on both the buy and sell side with a focus on Asian equity and credit markets. Prior to joining MCM Partners, Katherine worked at OCP Asia Limited (Formerly Stark Investments) for close to 10 years where she was the Head Trader and was responsible for all trading across a multi-product platform.
She was also involved in Investor Relations and assisting with the marketing of new funds and the development of new alternative products. She previously also worked at JP Morgan Chase for close to 10 years, starting in the Internal Consulting group and later in the Derivatives Middle Office and prior to leaving JP Morgan Chase was in the Equity Derivatives and Delta One Sales team responsible for the sales and marketing of Asian market access and derivative products.
Katherine graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a BA in International Relations and Japanese.
Chairman & Managing Director, Commence Company Limited
With over 50 years of distinguished leadership in finance, private equity, and corporate advisory, Anthony is the Chairman & Managing Director of Commence, providing strategic planning and business services to multinational firms and family offices across Asia.
A serial entrepreneur, Anthony has founded and scaled ventures across China, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and the United States in the manufacturing, technology, and real estate sectors. Notably, he played a central role in founding eTelecare, the landmark venture that catalyzed the Philippines’ multi billion dollar BPO and call center industry. Early in his career, he served as Founder and Managing Partner of SGV’s Group HQ in the 1970s, building it into the largest audit firm in Asia.
Anthony holds a BS in Engineering (summa cum laude) from De La Salle University, where he received the Distinguished La Sallian Award in 1982, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was elected to the Century Club. He remains deeply engaged with Harvard Business School as Director-Emeritus of the HBSAA USA Main Board, Founding Trustee of the HBSA Trust, and Advisor to HBSA Hong Kong.
Non-Executive Director, East West Bank (China) Limited
David is a distinguished senior banking executive and corporate director with over five decades of international experience spanning asset management, commercial banking, cross-border trade, and corporate governance across Greater China, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the United States.
David maintains active board-level governance responsibilities. He serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director for East West Bank (China) Limited, where he chairs both the Risk Management Committee and the Compensation & Nomination Committee, and holds non-executive directorships with Pacific Millennium Packaging Group (1820.HK) and Bank of China Travel Service Co., Ltd. Jiaozuo.
David has served as Chief Executive Officer of Da Tang Xi Shi International Group Ltd., Chairman of Adamas Asset Management Co., and Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce. Throughout his prominent career, he also held chief executive positions at Ping An Bank and Fubon First Sino Bank in Shanghai. His senior executive track record includes serving as CEO for China at Standard Chartered Bank, Chief Operating Officer at China CITIC Bank International, Managing Director at N.M. Rothschild & Sons (Hong Kong), and Country Manager for First Interstate Bank of California.
David holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Partner, Blackcrane Capital
Victor brings over 15 years of experience spanning asset management, public equities, venture capital, and economic research.
Since 2012, Victor has served as a Partner at Blackcrane Capital, LLC, an investment management firm focusing on absolute return strategies and public equity opportunities across global markets. In addition to his asset management leadership, Victor active in venture and technology governance, serving on the Investment Committee at Triphammer Ventures and as a Board Member for Sixscape Communications, a Singapore-based provider of enterprise and government authentication solutions.
Earlier in his career, Victor was an Investment Analyst on the Hedge Fund Task Force at HI Asset Management in Seoul, a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, and a Senior Researcher in Economics and Finance at Yonsei University.
Victor earned both his Master of Public Administration (MPA) and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University.
Partner and Senior Advisor, ioBuilders
Eduardo brings over 30 years of international experience spanning capital markets, wholesale banking, asset management, and frontier financial technology. Throughout his career across the UK, Europe, Latin America, and the US, he has built deep expertise navigating first- and second-line defence functions, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk, and strategic business development.
Currently, Eduardo is also a Partner and Senior Advisor at ioBuilders, where he leads UK market presence and drives adoption for enterprise-grade distributed ledger technology (DLT) and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. In addition to supporting MCM Partners in risk assessment and strategic governance, he also advises sustainability platform The Disruption House.
Previously, Eduardo served as Chief Risk Officer and Executive Committee Member at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking UK. In this role, he led teams across London and Madrid, overseeing all credit, market, liquidity, and non-financial risks while spearheading the bank’s operational transformation through ring-fencing and post-Brexit reauthorization.
Earlier in his career, Eduardo was Partner and CRO at Vantage Capital Markets and WMG Wealth Management, co-managing the selection and seeding of global hedge fund strategies. His trading leadership includes roles as Global Head of Equity Derivatives Trading at Commerzbank AG and Head of Equity Derivatives for Latin America at ING Barings.
Eduardo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo (Escola Politécnica).
Founder, JAK Advisory
Jamie has over 30 years of experience in financial services and alternative asset management. Throughout his career, he has led, scaled, and institutionalized investment platforms across hedge funds, private debt, private equity, quantitative strategies, and renewable energy infrastructure.
Currently, Jamie is the Founder of JAK Advisory, providing strategic guidance, transformation advice, and expert witness services for asset managers and legal proceedings in the US and UK. In addition to MCM Partner, he also serves as a Senior Advisor to several institutions, including Nord45 Partners, and Juniper Place.
Prior to founding JAK Advisory, Jamie served as CEO, Partner, and Investment Committee Member at Tages Capital. During his tenure, he oversaw the turnaround and growth of the $2.2B AUM firm, culminating in a strategic merger to create a $6B JV. Previously, he was CEO and Founder Partner of Mariana Investment Partners, and Group Managing Director at Fauchier Partners, where he led the business transformation and growth to $8.5B AUM ahead of its sale to a leading US multi-boutique asset manager.
Earlier in his career, Jamie spent a decade at Morgan Stanley as Managing Director, holding roles including European Head of Hedge Fund Coverage and Head of Special Situations. He began his career in capital markets and equity derivatives at CSFB and ING Barings.
Jamie holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bristol.

Tim currently serves as Director and Owner of Transpac Asset Management, a group specializing in the ownership and operation of long-term real assets across energy, commodities, and social infrastructure. He is also the Owner and Director of Minumbra, one of Australia’s largest privately held regional infrastructure investors and operators, where he is actively involved in driving regional development and net-zero initiatives across Northern Australia.
In addition, Tim is a Strategic Advisor to MCM Partners, supporting its innovative Working Capital Commodity Fund to deliver flexible capital solutions for commodity producers and traders across Asia Pacific.

Manuel brings over 30 years of global leadership experience spanning private equity, venture creation, corporate finance, and cross-border M&A.
As Chief Executive Officer of Tiberius Capital, he leads the firm's strategic direction, capital deployment, and portfolio value-creation initiatives across high-growth sectors.
Throughout his career, Manuel has held senior executive and C-suite positions at major multinational corporations and high-growth platforms, including Bombardier, Nilfisk, Axis Capital, Oro Negro, Navigatis Radiance, and La Lupita Restaurants. His versatile operational track record bridges heavy industry, energy services, capital markets, and hospitality equip him with a rare blend of engineering rigor, financial acumen, and entrepreneurial agility.
A specialist in corporate turnarounds and business transformations, Manuel has built a reputation for navigating complex market dynamics, scaling emerging businesses, and executing cross-border transactions that deliver sustainable stakeholder value. His hands-on leadership style combines rigorous strategic planning with operational excellence, allowing him to bridge executive vision with ground-level execution.

Il Yong is a seasoned financial executive with two decades of investment management and investment banking experience across the Asia-Pacific region. He currently serves as Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at OCP Asia, a leading private credit manager in APAC, where he has been instrumental in driving investment strategy since 2011.
In addition to his institutional investment career, Il Yong serves as Senior Strategic Advisor (Asia Pacific) and shareholder at Oncoheroes Biosciences, a biotech firm 100% dedicated to pediatric oncology drug development. Driven by a personal commitment to address the severe shortage of cancer therapies specifically formulated for children, Il Yong leads strategic fundraising efforts across Asia.
Prior to OCP Asia, Il Yong spent three years as an Analyst at York Capital Management in Hong Kong, evaluating public equity and equity-linked investments across Korea, Australia, and Southeast Asia. He began his career in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, executing M&A, leveraged buyouts, and debt/equity financings.
Il Yong holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
